Le présent appel invite à proposer une contribution, de préférence en anglais ou en français, concernant les Psaumes de Salomon, leur contexte ou leur réception.
Ce colloque vise à approfondir les études sur cet important témoin de l’époque qui a vu naître le christianisme et le judaïsme rabbinique. Le principe est d’inviter plusieurs chercheurs de premier plan et de spécialisations différentes pour présenter l’état de la recherche et les perspectives d’avenir. Un certain nombre de doctorants ou de jeunes docteurs seront également appelés à intervenir. La mise en commun des idées permettra de transmettre la spécificité de la recherche sur cette collection à la jeune génération.
Le format de cette contribution sera de trente minutes dont vingt minutes de présentation suivies d’une séance de questions. Toute personne intéressée doit envoyer à Patrick Pouchelle

The Psalms of Solomon : elaboration, formation and reception

The call for papers invites all researchers to propose a contribution, preferably in English or French, concerning the Psalms of Solomon, their context or their reception.
This colloquium aims to renew the study of this important witness of the era that saw the rise of Christianity and Rabbinic Judaism. The principle aim is the invitation of a number of leading researchers and different specializations to present on the state of research and to advance the agenda for the future. A certain number of doctoral candidates or emerging scholars will also be encouraged to participate. The gathering together and sharing of ideas will foster the trans-mission of the specifics of research on this collection to a younger generation.
The format of this presentation will be 30 minutes, with 20 minutes for the presentation followed by a time of discussion. All those interested in the colloquium should contact either Patrick Pouchelle (French) at patrick.pouchelle@gmail.com or Brad Embry (English) at bembry@regent.edu with an abstract of their proposed paper of no more than 600 words before April 1st. Decisions on papers will be made by the mid-April.
